Frequently asked questions
Where are you located?
We are located in Newtown, Toowoomba. The toy library is currently run from home, so the exact address is only available to current members and will be shared with new members upon sign up.
How does borrowing work?
We run a click and collect borrowing system. You browse our online catalogue, select your toys and pay for your membership. Then, select a time from our scheduled pickup windows, show up and collect your toys. They are then yours for four weeks to enjoy at home before returning in the same way.
What are my membership options? Do I have to commit to a lock-in contract?
Currently we have three membership tiers:
- Play Basic: $15/month for 4 toys
- Play Plus: $35/month for 4 toys and 1 play kit
- Play Ultimate: $45/month for 8 toys and 1 play kit
You can find all the relevant information on our memberships page. Membership is month-to-month so there’s no lock-in timeframe. Try us out for a month or two, or save by using our 6-month and 12-month options!
There's an option for everyone, from grandparents with visiting grandchildren, to parents needing novel toys for the school holidays, to those wanting a regular play refresh.
When do pickups and returns happen?
We run regular pickup windows. The times are 5:30pm-8:30pm Tuesdays and 8am-11am Thursdays weekly, and 9am-12pm on the first Saturday of the month. However, if none of the available times work for your family, contact me and we can work something out!
What if I’m late returning?
Life happens! If you need a little extra time, just reach out. Late returns may incur a small fee to keep things fair for everyone. See our Loan Periods & Returns policy for the full details.
What if something goes missing or gets broken?
We know what it’s like with young kids. Things are never where they’re supposed to be! Depending on the situation, you may be given extra time to find the item, or a small replacement fee may be charged.
If a toy is broken or inoperable due to missing parts, a replacement fee will be charged. See our Lost or Broken Items policy for the full details.
How are the toys cleaned?
We ask you to wipe down and remove any visible dirt from the toys before returning. We will then sanitise them in preparation for the next family to borrow.
Can I gift a membership?
Of course! Click here to purchase a gift card online.
Can I donate toys to you?
